I've been to Honolulu, but Hanalei is quite different. The luscious green mountains with clear blue skies and wonderful warm water make this place paradise. The people are very friendly. This is my first visit to Hanalei and I truly enjoyed myself. I will deffinately go back.........soon I hope.
The beach at Hanalei is perfect for learning how to surf and just having fun in the water and laying on the warm sand.
My new Hawaiian friends had a pig roast for us, it was a feast to remember, and the pig was deliciously wonderful....we all get couldn't enough of it to eat!
Click here to see a picture of the pig coming out of the ground. The pig was put in the ground at 7:30 am, it was taken out at 3:30 pm....it cooked all day!
There are so many sites to see. When it rains the waterfalls are really running full. This is a small waterfall. At Kee Beach you can hike up to a waterfall.
